It all started with… a pair of shoes I saw on my husband. This is Nicola, he is a firefighter; when I met him, I also fell in love with his old mountain “pedule” shoes, a model now unobtainable; durable, comfortable, beloved shoes.
I wanted them too!
So I went looking for the craftsman who had made them by hand more than 30 years earlier. And, rediscovering the long-forgotten molds, he was able to create my size 37.
I love the mountains and charming hotels, and I like to think that they go hand in hand with the essentials to pack: a perfect tandem—hiking boots for trekking through the woods, velvet Friulane slippers for heading down to dinner or the spa. Always easy chic.
